MSC World Europa, introduced by MSC in 2022, is the first LNG-fueled World-class ship and the line's largest, exceeding 210,000 GT. Its signature features include an 11-deck dry slide running diagonally through the stern and a spacious indoor promenade. The forward Yacht Club is separately arranged with a dedicated restaurant, lounge, and pool deck, keeping guest flow separate from the general areas and making the ship feel noticeably less crowded. It is scheduled for a 7-night Western Mediterranean circuit in summer 2026, then is expected to return to the Caribbean in winter 2026/27 after changes to its Middle East deployment.

Atmosphere and guests
All ages
A large flagship with the lively, open atmosphere typical of a Mediterranean departure. Families and multigenerational groups are the main audience, while only the Yacht Club area offers a calmer, upscale feel.
Mainly attracts European families, including those from Italy, France, and Germany. During the winter Middle East departure season, the proportion of Middle Eastern and Asian guests also increases.
Uses LNG (liquefied natural gas) as fuel, significantly reducing air pollutants. It is the first cruise ship in the world to carry a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC, a 150 kW demonstration unit), and it achieves energy efficiency 47% better than the required EEDI standard.
