- Since entering service, it has operated from bases in Asia and Oceania, including Shanghai, Taipei, and Sydney, attracting many Asian guests, especially from Chinese-speaking regions. Chinese-language menus, announcements, and staff service are well established. Japanese passengers also board in certain seasons from and back to Japan, but the level of ongoing Japanese-language support varies by deployment and timing.
